The Indonesian Journal of Impactful Community Service (IJICoS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics. Every manuscript submitted to the journal is subject to a plagiarism screening process before entering the peer-review stage. This policy ensures that all published articles are original, ethical, and contribute genuine scientific value.

Plagiarism Screening Process

Screening Item Description
Screening Tools All submitted manuscripts are screened using Grammarly Plagiarism Checker and CrossCheck powered by Turnitin.
Similarity Assessment The Editorial Board carefully evaluates the similarity report. Similarity percentages are interpreted together with the context of the matched sources, including quotations, references, and standard methodological descriptions.
Similarity Threshold Manuscripts with an overall similarity index of more than 30% may be rejected or returned to the authors for substantial revision before peer review.
Editorial Decision The final decision is made by the Editor after evaluating both the similarity report and the nature of the matched content.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are original and properly cite all sources. Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, or unattributed use of another person's work, is considered unethical publishing behavior.
